Hello to the world

This is my introduction to the world. Don't be frightened - I'm really a very nice person. I just want to hang out in your house, eat your chips and maybe pet your dog for a bit. I promise I'll clean-up.

I have bowed to the peer pressure and am starting a blog of my own. I have no real solid topic of discussion or free advice about the best thigamawhat'sit out there. I just have what I would like to think is a fairly entertaining life that I would like to share with you. Mostly this will just be observations on the world in which we live and the silly, silly place it is.

To tell you a little about myself, I live in Columbus, Ohio with my actor/director/cook/bad-ass of a husband, J. We have a fabulously sweet and silly coonhound I will henceforth refer to as Doodlebug. I am in Guest Services for a large Event Facility where we host basketball, hockey and concerts. I love my job even though it involves many long hours and a ton of my energy. I am what I like to call a Drive-By-Crafter in that I tend to see a clever item that intrigues me, I make a bunch of them and then declare myself a master of my trade, never again to make another of that item. I've made dolls, quilts, rugs, hats, bowls, bandannas, etc. The only constant craft is sewing costumes for all periods but mainly renaissance medieval. I love the theatre, movies, music, thrift store shopping, and anything that amuses me. I hope I prove to be amusing to you, my 2 readers (hi Mom & Dad) and that I can help show you the silly side of life.
